Contamination Control is one of the cores of pro-active mainentance. Applying a well designed Contamination Control concept improves the reliability of machinery, reduces the maintenance costs, pro-longes the life of machinery and helps to conserve our natural ressources:
1. Aviod contamination during all steps of fluid handling, beginning with incoming lubricants, over storage, dispensing to operation.
2. Control the contamination level on regular basis, by visual inspection, oil analysis or sensors. React immediately, if needed.
3. Install an appropriate additional filtration in dependence on system sensitivity, criticality, downtime & repair costs.
Contamination control well done improve the life of the oil and of the lubricated components!
